Mera Grooming Parlour is exclusively canine orientated. We groom all sizes and breeds of pooches, from tiny Yorkies up to Boerboels and Great Danes and have facilities suitable for all sizes of customer. We specialise in grooming your doggy friends.

MERA GROOMING PARLOUR

We are a pooch loving, family owned business. We have everything your dog needs from grooming services to food, snacks, toys and accessories. We love our animals and what we do.

GROOMING SERVICES

Our grooming services includes washing and conditioning, brushing, grooming, breed specific cuts and tick & flea treatments. Treat your doggies to a WARM bath in our HEATED parlour to get them clean and fresh smelling. Our geyser is set with a maximum temperature of 30°C so that no accidental scalding can happen. We use a hand shower so that each dog is washed and rinsed in clean water. Loadshedding doesn't affect us, as we use a generator.

Our Parlour has the following facilities:                        

Air-conditioning, so the parlour is warm in winter and cool in summer.

We also have fans to circulate the air to help the drying process and keep your pet comfortable. (Ever seen a dog that doesn’t like sticking his/her head out of a car window into the wind)

A warm water shower with the thermostat set at a relaxing 30°C.

We wash under running water so there is no shared water.

Airy pens for your dog’s comfort.

Our Staff are Well Trained.

Our groomers are fully trained and well equipped to cater for all your pet's grooming requirements.

A Full Grooming includes:

We have selected pensioner (60 years and over) discounts every day (excluding pickup fee).  

  • A cut suited to the breed or you can request a variety of personal preference cuts. 

  • Warm water bath (If you have a vet recommended shampoo and want us to use it, bring it with your beloved pooch.) 

  • A dip treatment to get rid of fleas. If your dog has a sensitive skin this can be left out. 

  • Drying, Brushing and Nail Trimming.

  • We also do just a bath, dip and nail cut for those dogs that don’t need a haircut. 

  • Technical Cuts includes Lion Cut, Teddy Bear Cut and Cowboy Cut.

  • Additional Extra's: Extra Bum & Tum is R25. Jump the queue is R30 extra. Betadine wash extra R40(Small) and R50(Med and Large).

Grooming Collections are part of our service. To add a personal touch, our owner collects and returns your four-legged friend himself. Our Grooming Collection Service is available Monday to Saturday and is aimed at owners who work away from home and don’t want to disrupt their Saturdays.
